Phoenix Insurance is part of the Phoenix Financial Holdings Group, a wholly-owned Ghanaian company that is established through an investment vehicle of Ghanaians called CD Investments Limited.
CD Investments is incorporated in Ghana, and currently has substantial stakes in the following companies among others:

• Phoenix Insurance Company Limited
• Ivory Financial Services
CD Investments Limited originally owned Benefits Insurance, and acquired majority stake in Phoenix Insurance Company Limited in March 2007.
